Our stay in Lancashire is almost over and so far we’ve:-

  • :: taught my SIL to knit (well she mostly taught herself)
  • :: had many lovely walks on the beach

  • :: chased lots of cats and dogs
  • :: learned to climb the stairs
  • :: knit a sock (was meant to be for Mum but was far too big - lucky I’ve got big feet! - hence the speedy Bainbridge knit)
  • :: bought our first trike and some new shoes
  • :: survived the recent gales, sleet and snow
  • Later today we’ll all be reunited and we can’t wait! Happy Easter everyone.

    Victoria sponge with cherries

When you’re staying in someoneelse’s home, you can never be sure how the oven works, but this turned out a treat. Delicious Victoria Sandwich filled with cream and a tin of John West’s finest cherries. Made to celebrate Coco’s Grandad’s birthday.
