Alphabet city
I loved making this. The border became a labour of love but I’m really glad I persevered with it because it looks fantastic. The little person receiving it will love it too. I think it will be really practical as a throw, but also if Mum wants to use it in the cot.

It’s beeeeoootiful!
Fantastic! it’s so classic. And an appropriate addition to the heirloom blanket collection you seem to be developing.
Beautiful work - a very lucky friend !
this is absolutely gorgeous and beautiful. it is also one of my favourite blanket patterns out there. although i have no children, i am insanely jealous of the recipient! how lucky are they.
You’ve done a beautiful job of it, congratulations!

I love the pattern. I make baby afghans all the time. Where can I get the pattern? I really need it.
Thanks
Ruth
Hello - I love this blanket and am about to cast on. The Debbie Bliss website no longer lists the errata for this pattern. Did you have any problems? I have found some people saying to cast on a different number of stitches and also that row 11 has a mistake. Can you verify this for me? Thank you so much.
Hi
Love this blanket a real family heirloom. I would love the pattern to make for my first grandchild, due in July. If’s a girl I’m also giving her my bed doll I’ve had for 40 years.
Could you please tell me where I could download this great pattern.
Thanks
Take care
Denise
You did a beautiful job knitting this
blanket.
Could you please tell me where I could
download this great pattern.
I have 3 friends who are having babies
and I think they would really love to receive one.
Please also let me know if there are any changes to the pattern.
Thank you it would be really appreciated.
The pattern revisions/errata are listed here if you have the first edition of the book from 2002. We understand the newer editions have been corrected according to Debbie’s website.
The pattern is available in the Debbie Bliss Baby Knits Book, and isn’t available as a download.
